Relocations and In Take
Our Cats after Release
Bad Calls/Emails:
Won’t Wait Until They Get Sick
BMG (Bitch/Moan/Groan): No Entry This Week
OMG (Oh My God):
Gunter Cats Update
Relocations and In Take: Placed 4 this week with intake at 4.
2 Barn in
Gunter (Toby, Tessa)
1 Garage in
Celina (Nemo)
1 Backyard
in Richardson (Flame)
Our Cats after Release: Picked
up in 3 locations.
1.
Rockwall: Taco, Rocky, and Grayson went to this
garage/barn home. Taco and Rocky were
around for pictures but WOULD NOT STAND STILL!
Blurry shots – sorry! Grayson
(the feral one) is also around but would not come out. He HAS
let a member of the family pet him -- amazing. Taco is a tabby/white and Rocky is gray/white.
2.
Bartonville: MacGyver and Chet were placed in this
barn. MacGyver is always around and
playing with the Alpacas. Chet is more elusive
but is still around. The family had moved
the equipment to their garage so did not go to the barn for pictures.
3.
Whitewright: 4 white cats from a tire warehouse (Star,
Snowball, Kenny, and Lucky) are now living with 3 donkeys and about 30 Great Pyrenees
dogs at Bluebonnet Rescue. There is not
a coyote for 30 miles around this property.
I saw Lucky but had left my phone in the truck and did not get a
picture. Glad they are all doing well.
Bad Calls/EMAILS:
Won’t Wait Until They Get Sick!
Received an emails from a
lady who started feeding a cat last June when its’ owner passed away. Now the cat is sick (wheezing, stopped
eating, etc – classic upper respiratory infection) and she wants someone to
take it. Well, she says she can get it
into a carrier but HAS NOT YET! AND SHE
WAITED UNTIL A HOLIDAY WEEKEND TO DO ANYTHING!
I cannot help that cat until she gets it into a carrier or a trap AND
when the vet clinics are open – not a holiday weekend. We shall see if she follows through…???
BMG: No Entry this Week – Christmas Season!
OMG: Gunter Cats Update
I delivered 3 cats to a
barn in Gunter last February. The white
one has now appeared on their porch and is getting more friendly each day.
“Pringle” in Whitesboro
We placed “Pringle”, a
front-declawed orange/white cat from Bedford Animal Services in a business in Whitesboro. HE IS GOING GREAT!
“Thanks” for following the
Barn Cats Blog. See you all next week. Peg
