BMG (Bitch/Moan/Groan): Low Numbers This Year
OMG (Oh My God): Last Update for 2018
Relocations: I placed 0 this
week – holiday week with bad weather.
December Closeout: I placed 36 in 5 North Texas counties.
Collin Dallas Denton Fannin Grayson
2018 Closeout: Placed 547 which is the lowest number since 2015. BAD WEATHER for the most part and then I was
gone for all of November. GEEZ! But this puts us at 8,312 cats placed in the
last 15 years.
Our Cats after Release:
1.
Farmersville: Peter, Paul, and
Mary went to this barn/workshop. All
three are still around – eating and pooping.
All good!
2.
Weston: Dancer, Prancer, and
Molly went to this barn where the family has 3 Great Pyrenees dogs. Prancer and Molly were in the same hidey box
when I got there. So cute! Did not get a picture but great to see
them. Dancer is there but not visible.
3.
Frisco: Big Mike and Jackie went
to this garage. Both are hanging out in
the garage and Big Mike was visible in his hidey box. Great news!
4.
Argyle: Jorge and Solo went to
this garage/workshop. Both are loose in
the area but hiding out. They have a
window to get in and out so everything is good in Argyle.
5.
Krum: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 went to
this barn where they do horse rescue. I
did not see them but food is disappearing each night. These cats were all from the same location
in Arlington.
6.
Sachse: Tinsel is living on
their back patio in a special “cat house”.
The family is very happy with her.
Calls/Emails: Cats in
HEB Parking Lot – Granbury: UPDATE
A
rescuer whom I have known for many years is now living in Granbury. She saw a bunch of cats in the grocery store
parking lot. The stores are OK for some
to be living there but not a million! Some will be TNR’ed and the rest she is
bringing them here for relocation. Got
the first 2 on Sunday. I can take more
on Tuesday but not after that. Clinics
will be closed for the holidays so need to get done early in the week. It is always something!
UPDATE: 3 were captured: 2 on Sunday and one on Tuesday. All have tested negative, been
spayed/neutered and had rabies and distemper shots. Will place them in January.
BMG: Low Numbers This Year
The
spring and fall are usually our busiest times of each year. WELL – Not this year! Bad weather and lot of mud delayed everything
quite a bit and I have no control over the barn calls. Just compare 2017 and 2018:
