3          Barn in Sanger (Morris, Yancey, Penny)
3          Adoption Group (Bunny, Pepper, Sammy)

February Closeout
We placed a total of 56 in February which is great – due to the warmer weather, of course.
They were relocated to the following 10 North Texas counties:
            Collin              Dallas              Fannin             Rockwall         Wichita
            Cooke              Denton            Grayson          Tarrant            Wise

Our Cats after Release:
1.     Denton:  Black Bart was placed in a backyard situation in Denton.  Well – he has moved into the house.

2.     Argyle:  Hercules from the Flower Mound Shelter was placed in this backyard situation in Argyle.  Not a worry in the world!

3.     Rockwall:  Oreo was placed in this backyard in Rockwall.  She has her own bed and is very comfortable.

4.     Pickton:  Johnny and Jamie were placed in this shed in Pickton.  They are “leaving presents” for the property owners – definitely taking care of business.
5.     Windom:  Fifi, Martin, Harry, and Sally were placed in this large shed on a farm in Windom, east of Bonham.  Everything is going well for them.

Bad Calls/EMAILS:  Environment Bring Destroyed
A large group of cats has been fed in White Settlement for over 5 years.  Now, the Trinity River Vision project is systematically destroying their habitat.  That area will be under water in a year or so.  Several warehouses have been torn down and coyotes have moved in…well they need shelter and food too – but NOT OUR CATS!  I am told there are 27 cats left.  I will start taking them in next week if the feeders can get right on it…we shall see!

BMG:  TOO MANY EMAILS!
When multiple people start working on some project, we get put on their distribution list.  To date, I have received 14 emails on the same problem.  Just select one person to contact Barn Cats.  I get 25 to 50 emails each day and this is just annoying from the same people with the same problem.  ALSO – I told one person I would help but the EMAILS KEEP COMING!   You want someone to help you but then you annoy them to death!

OMG:  Witherspoon Way
Nancy and I went out last week to place 4 cats in a barn and was given an address of Witherspoon Way.  It was on google maps – so off we go.  Then we go to the end of the street and cannot find it…that is because it is a HANDMADE SIGN!  Take a look…

Thanks for following the Barn Cats Blog.          Peg
