Seeking someone to
take over Barn Cats, Inc.: I would like to officially
retire as Executive Director in 2019. I
can retain the fundraising pieces but would like to stop the relocations,
equipment pickups, phone calls, and emails…the day-to-day stuff. I will be available for consultation. If interested call or email Barn
Cats…972-315-2875 info@barncats.org

the cages.
3 Adoption
Group (Amy, Thomas, Toulouse)
Our Cats after Release:
1.
Parker: Bella and Ringa went to
this barn in Parker where the husband is an animal surgeon. They have not been seen but the food is
disappearing and the litter box is being used.
They have burrowed under the hay – I’ll bet.
2.
Paradise: WW, Toyota, Alex, and
Duke went to this barn home. Alex and
Duke are hanging around but WW and Toyota have gone next door. GO FIGURE!
Calls/Emails: Gloria Now Inside in
Leonard
The
husband went out to walk their dog and found Gloria curled up in a chair on the
front porch. SO – he let her
inside. She like the dog and the other
inside cat…so…ALL IS WELL IN LEONARD! Two
other inside cats were older and have passed away. The other cat likes her and everyone is
getting along great. YES!
BMG: Call on the Holiday Weekend
A
lady had a cat for several months. She
decided to take it to an adoption group.
The cat did not act well there.
They recommended Barn Cats so she called. It was Sunday afternoon. The cat has a rabies shot and that is
all. The husband said “Don’t bring that
cat back here!” She was at a loss but I
cannot help her. It had not been sterilized,
or tested, or had a FVRCP shot AND it is Sunday of a holiday weekend. I don’t know what she did…??? BUMMER for the cat!
OMG: Petey’s First Owner
in DeSoto
Petey
is the female cat that started out in DeSoto, then went to Bartonville, then
Argyle and now is back here after a check of the microchip in Flower
Mound. I first put her in DeSoto in
2012. I featured her in our current
fundraising letter “An Amazing Story”.
The DeSoto barn owner called to say how glad he was to see that Petey is still OK. She is now about 10 years old and I am not going to put her out
again. She will finish out her life here at Barn Cats. WAY TO GO, PETEY!
Thanks
for following the Barn Cats Blog. Peg
