Our Cats after Release:
Pilot
Point – Freddy and Fergie, two cats from Fort Worth, were placed in this barn
in Pilot Point. Well, Freddy has been
fighting with the other cats, so I got him back on Saturday. BUMMER, Freddy! Fergie is getting along great. Thanks, Fergie!
August Closeout
Placed
30 in Johnson, Denton, and Collin counties. Now bad for being out of town for 3 weeks!
Bad Calls/EMAILS: Barn Cat
Website: Repaired!
After
many emails and texts, changes of passwords, phone calls, and “prayers”, www.barncats.org has been repaired and made
secure through Safelock. Just try it
now, evil hackers!
BMG: I Need to Delay
A
barn owner asked for 6 from the same place.
So, I got in 6 from the same location and now the barn owner has
postponed taking the cats for “several months”.
Now we are jammed up again with those 6, who have been in cages in my
family room for over a month. I hope to
get some out next week to a barn in Bonham.
OMG: New TC – It’s a Wrap!
We
purchased a new Ford Transit Connect in July.
It was in to be wrapped all this week.
Press Ink in Lewisville used the same design from the old TC and
adjusted it to fit the new model. Take a
look…

Nancy
and I found a cute witch’s hat at Michael’s that is probably for a doll, but fits
a cat purr-fectly. SO, we bought hats
for each of our volunteers and will feature a picture each week until
Halloween. Here is the first: Charlotte is the Barn Cat Mascot. She was found when Nancy and I went to lunch
at the Church’s Chicken on Hwy 121 in Lewisville. This was now 5 or 6 years ago. She is a really doll and looks great in the
hat!
Way to go, Charlotte!
Thanks
for following the Barn Cats Blog. See you
next week! Peg
