Our Cats after Release

BMG (Bitch/Moan/Groan):  Mail Box Problems

OMG (Oh My God):  Kit-Kat Adopted! 

Relocations:   I placed 6 this week.    

3          Barn in Arlington (Shadow, Harry, Genie)

2          Barn in Poetry (Pora, Midnight)

1          Barn in Aubrey (Kerrigan)       

Our Cats after Release:   

1.     Aubrey:    Frankie, Jenny, Sammy, and Bubba went to this BIG horse riding stable in Aubrey.  Frankie, Sammy and Bubba have all been spotted on the property.  Hopefully Jenny is still around. 

2.     Lucas:  Jamie and Larry went to this barn with a 34-year-old horse.  Unfortunately the horse passed away this last week.  Now the other horse is lonely.  They had been together 20 years.  GEEZ!   But, the cats are doing fine there.  Maybe they can make friends with the remaining horse and we friends.  

3.     Little Elm:  Sparkles was placed in this barn on gorgeous property.  She has made friends and is doing great.

A Dallas area resident had 9 cats that were keep in-doors.  She was moving in with her dad because she was being evicted.  She was just going to put the cats outside and move off.  I HATE PEOPLE!  A local adoption group rescued the cats and I got 3…but…YES the 3 are semi-feral but have been indoors.  I will have to wait for warmer weather to put them out.  Also, one may have an eye problem.  I will take her into the clinic next week.

UPDATE:  Took Farrah to the vet.  They did an x-ray and found extensive cancer.  They put her to sleep on Friday.  Glad she was still with Barn Cat and not loose in a barn where they might not see her.  RIP, FARRAH!      

BMG:   Mail Box Problems

The Barn Cat PO Box is in Lewisville.  It is renewed annually in March.  I received a letter in February that the credit card on file now has an expired date on it.  I went to the post office, stood in line (forever), only be to be told that they could not change the date (had to be done on-line – NOT WHAT THE LETTER SAID).  So I said let’s just pay it.  It is not due till March and they would not accept payment until March.  WHAT?  Geez – now it is March and I need to go stand in line once again.  BMG! 

OMG:   Kit-Kat Adopted!

Kit-Kat came to Barn Cats as a friendly cat but was found out doors.  I gave her to an adoption group.  Got this wonderful picture over Friday night.  Congratulations, Kit-Kat!!!!!!!
