2.     Leonard:  Verde and Chika were placed in this barn behind the house.  They are doing great but have switched places with a neighbor’s cat.  The orange cat is where I put them and they went to the other barn.  GEEZ!
3.     Wills Point:  Ian, Barbie, Sweetie, and Bob were placed here on “Old MacDonald’s Farm”.  We saw all 4 – pictures follow!

4.     Celina:  George, Kat, and Grace are now living in this barn in Celina.  Got a picture of Kat and Grace…looking good!

Bad Calls/EMAILS:  THANK YOU SPCA OF TEXAS!
I received a call from a distress person trying to help a cat who went into labor on Sunday afternoon, delivered only one kitten, then stopped labor with a kitten still inside her.  The person could not pay the $400 a vet wanted to treat the cat.  I contacted a supervisor at the SPCA of Texas in downtown Dallas and she arranged for an emergency C-section on the cat to remove the kitten.  It was still born and had some “defects” so there is a reason it would not deliver properly.  BUT the mom and the one kitten are GREAT.  The lady is keeping the mom and the SPCA will take the kitten for adoption when weaned.  MANY THANKS to the SPCA!

BMG:  Family Throws Out Cats
UPDATE:  The family became problematic because they would not tell Pam with Feral Friends what the address was for this location.   How can you help if you do not know where to go?  ANYWAY – neighbors have taken these cats – or at least the family SAYS neighbors took the cats.  Once again – I HATE PEOPLE!

OMG:  Simon from Bonham
Our Bonham ladies asked me to take a 15-year-old declawed cat that was at the Bonham shelter.  It is a kill shelter.  There was not even a NAME left for this poor elderly cat.  Well – he was doing well until this week and now he is declining quickly.  I just hope he makes it – I am so worried!   We named him Simon.  He is a sweetheart!

Pet beds are always popular at any of our auctions.  This one is my Martha Stewart PETS and will work for either dogs or cats.  I’ll bet folks will be fighting over this one!

“Thanks” for following the Barn Cats Blog.  See you all next week.      Peg
