Our Cats after Release: The Oklahoma Cat
Are Doing Well
Both
PCFCC and GP have cats that we placed in Oklahoma. They have both talked to the property owners
and the cats are doing well. They have
asked to keep the caging for an extra week or two and that has been arranged.
Calls/Emails: Many Calls from
Out-of-State
One
day, I received 3 calls from California…???
…and that mode has continued through the week. Also, many call to release cats but only 1
that wants cats. Unsure why this trend
is upon us. Wish it would pass. SO MANY FERALS ARE DYING IN SHELTERS!!!!!!!1
OMG: Anna Catio
I
went to Anna this week to take some extra sheets, towels, and beds. The cats appear to be enjoying their outdoor
area. Also, they are no longer peeing on
the beds, etc. inside but using the ground….good work! The cat doors have been mounted in the windows
and it is partially covered. They seem
to be enjoying the outdoors.
BMG: We Need Barns!!!
We
are not getting very many barn calls…???
Yes – it is still hot in the daytime but in the 70’s at night so we need
to get some placed. I am planning on a
fall fundraising letter to get more $$$ but also to remind barn owners we are
still out here. We are in process of
updating the Facebook page and hope that will help. Spread the word – we are still out here!
Thanks
for following the Barn Cats Blog. Peg
