BMG (Bitch/Moan/Groan):  MUD!
OMG (Oh My God):  Betsy Returned Home!

Relocations:   I placed 8 this week.
3          Barn in Flower Mound (Little Bit, Mavey, Willy)
3          Garage/Workshop in Denton (Mama Bean, Dee, Darla)
2          Guest House in Sachse (Tina, Blaze)

This is Little Bit in Flower Mound.  Barn owner has a big cage so put all 3 in there.  This cat bed is even heated!

October Closeout:  I placed 41 in 7 North Texas counties:
            Collin              Denton            Grayson          Tarrant
            Dallas              Fannin             Hunt

Our Cats after Release:
1.     Colleyville:  Tara and Tine were placed in this barn behind the family home.  Both are still there and doing well.  Best of all – no more rodent droppings!
2.     Windom:  Spidey, Shirley, Jade and Robby went to this shed home with windows.  All 4 are still around and I hope they all stay.  The family wants a friendly cat for inside the house so I recommended a Bonham-based adoption group for them.
3.     Whitewright:  Snow White and Henry went to this barn where the owner does Great Pyrenees Rescue.  This is the safest place on earth for these two solid white cats.  I got to see both but they were hiding so no good picture.
4.     Terrell:  Mama, Summer, Simone, and Crystal went to this big barn home.  Summer had a problem with one eye and it had to be removed…but…it all has worked out.  Here is their new barn home:

5.  Parker:  Angel Dumpling, Cubby, Fronda Mae and Fraidy Cat went to this workshop attached to the barn.  All 4 are still around and I got to see Cubby.

Calls/Emails:   Annoying Phone Call
A guy called from the DFW area was trying to get some cats placed.  Well, everything I suggested he had tried, or did not like/trust, or whatever.  He talked over me one too many times.  I finally got DONE and just said I would not be able to help him.  Sometimes you just have to cut your losses and move on.

BMG:   MUD!
I picked up equipment in Whitewright.  They have gotten 18 inches of rain over the last couple of weeks.  The mud was AMAZING!  …but the property owner had an extra set of mud boots so I did not sink down completely.  It worked out fine and I got to see both of the cats.

OMG:   Betsy Returned Home!
Last week from Our Cats after Release:  Merit:  Smurf and Betsy went to this barn/workshop.  Smurf is still around and doing well but Betsy is MIA.  Hope she returns!
GOT A TEXT THIS WEEK – and Betsy is back!   YEAH TEAM!

This is the last BLOG until after November.  Will pick up in December.  Stay tuned…and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Relocations:   I placed 8 this week.
2          Barn in Whitewright (Henry, Snow White)
3          Barn in Copper Canyon (Royce, Pine, Fluffy)
3          Workshop in Denison (Tux, Judy, Ginger)

Our Cats after Release:
1.     Rockwall:  Bertha, Price, Sadie, and Rowan were placed in this workshop and garage.  Sadie has turned friendly (who knows?) and 2 of the other 3 are seen regularly.  They released 5 days late due to rain but it worked out OK.
2.     Sadler:  Pablo and Seymour went to this barn home in Sadler.  I did not see them but the property owner does on a regular basis.  ALL GOOD!
3.     Merit:  Smurf and Betsy went to this barn/workshop.  Smurf is still around and doing well but Betsy is MIA.  Hope she returns!
4.     Nevada:  Larry, Curley, Moe, Dove, Celia, and Mya were placed in this barn.  All 6 are still around and I got to see the 3 girls.  Here is a picture of two of them.

Calls/Emails:   Cats in Florida
Sorry – Not taking your cats in Florida.  There are groups there and/or you can place them yourself.  There are plenty here!  I like to help cats and people and I understand the concern of the caregiver…but…I cannot take them all.

BMG:   It Finally Quit Raining!
…but only for 3 days.  Wednesday will be WET YET AGAIN!  I advise folks to not release the cats if it is raining so they are bring correct to not release them.  But this is delaying my picking up the equipment and then cleaning it.  BUMMER!

OMG:   Check Out the Cool Car
This is an 8-cylinder antique car that was purchased in California.  I did not write down the name and now I cannot remember…DUH!  This vehicle is #195 of only 250 produced.  Pretty cool!
