TRANSITION UPDATE

Relocations:   I placed 16 this week.    

   4          Shed/Garage in Tioga (PCFCC Cats) 
   3          Barn in Anna (This, That from MCCC, Sadie from Barn Cats) 
   1          Garage in Dallas (DCL cat) 
   8          Barn in Weatherford (cats from an area seizure through TTR)

Our Cats after Release:

1.     Bartonville:  Worked with DCL to place 3 cats in this backyard.  The husband made a cat house for them and I moved them there mid-week.  Another cat came from a neighbor’s house and they have made friends.   All are doing well. 

2.     Forney:  Diane and Whitney went to this barn in south Forney.  They have adjusted well and made friends with the another neighborhood cat who comes on to the property.   All good!

3.     Argyle:  Glenna and Blaze went to this barn.  They have not been spotted but the food is disappearing and the litter box being used.  

OMG:  Live Snake on the Road

In over 16 years, I have never seen a LIVE SNAKE ON THE ROAD until today – Sunday, 5/19/19 on Hwy 922 between Valley View and Tioga.  It was on a bridge and it was gone by the time I came back through there going home. 

WHAT:  Randy Travis’ Homestead

Going to the Tioga location, I passed a really big, nice home with several barn buildings.  I asked the property owner about it and she said it belongs to Randy Travis, the country music singer.  He had a stroke several years ago but I still see where he makes guest appearances around Dallas.  Well, not I know where he lives!    You never know what you will see on a Barn Cat run!  Tioga was also the birth place of Gene Autry – the famous cowboy singer from years ago. 

TRANSITION UPDATE: 

This is the first time in over 30 years that I have only had my personal cats in my home.  Feels weird!   I helped with a PCFCC hoarder situation this week with only equipment.  …just cannot get sucked into these bad situations any longer.  I think Cindy with MCCC is ready to go on her own.  We will need to pick up equipment in Justin then she can use that caging for a relo in Forney.  We shall see….
