Our Cats after Release

Calls/Emails:   Many, Many Feral Cat Calls

BMG (Bitch/Moan/Groan):  “Mail Box Is Full”

OMG (Oh My God):  Required -- Heat Lamps or Space Heaters

Relocations:   I placed 17 this week. 

     6          Adoption Group (Meow, Sadie, Ivy, Nitrous, Miss Kitty, Noah)

     1          Heated Shed in Sachse (Tinsel)

     2          Garage in Frisco (Big Mike, Jackie)

     2          Garage in Argyle (Solo, Jorge)

     3          Barn in Celina (Dancer, Prancer, Molly)

     3          Workshop in Pottsboro (Moon, Buster, Cowan)

Our Cats after Release: 

1.     Sachse:  Blaze and Tina were placed in this air-conditioned/heated garden shed.  Tina is living more in the garage and that is OK but Blaze has gone to a neighbor’s house.  So, I put Tinsel out there this week.

2.     Denton:  Mama Bean, Dee, and Darla went to this garage/workshop area in their backyard.  They see one each day, one other every other day, and one only once a week or so.  But – that is OK.  It is a neighborhood with lots of other yards to hang out in. 

3.     Denison:  Tux, Judy, and Ginger went to this workshop in Denison.  All 3 have taken off.  Bummer!

4.     Copper Canyon:  Royce, Fluffy, and Pine went to this barn home.  All 3 are still around – YES!

5.     Flower Mound:  Mavey, Little Bit, and Willy went to this barn in the backyard of the family home.  All 3 are seen each day – ALL GOOD!  

Calls/Emails:   Many, Many Feral Cat Calls

It has been a terrible week for cat calls.  One needs help by next Wednesday because his parent is going into a nursing home.  One has many cats and is moving the end of the month.  PEOPLE:  We are going into the holiday season when I receive NO requests for cat relo’s.  This is the situation this week.  I had NO calls from barn owners.   I am filling requests from the time I was out of town.  ALSO – the local municipal shelters appear to be “running over” with feral cats, as well.  Poor Babies!   Not good but I cannot help – my cages are full with only 2 or 4 going out next week – maybe – if the weather cooperates.  SORRY!  

BMG:   “Mail Box Full” 

A guy called and has “lots of feral cats”…did not leave a name from that sentence.  I called him back only to have NO ANSWER and the “mail box is full” message.  Guess you do not need help after all…!!! 

OMG:   Required -- Heat Lamps and Space Heaters

Cats are only going out if there is electricity in the barn, garage, or shed and everyone must have a heat lamp or space heater.  It is getting really cold at night and some of these cats have been in my house since before November.  I only am leaving them if the situation is “just right”.
