1.     The Barn Cat phone number has changed.  Remove 972-315-2875.  Use 972-742-5238. The website has been updated but there are still many lists out there with the old number.  A message now exists on the old number that references the new number. 

2.     The Barn Cat mailing has changed:  PO Box 12642, Dallas, TX  75225.  Letters will be going out this week with the new information.

Our Cats after Release:  The equipment was picked up on Sachse this week.  The property owners had made a wonderful “house” for the cats.  They have seen all 3 of them but one is hanging out more than the others.  I hope they keep warm this week with falling temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Calls/Emails:  Help in Florida

I get lots of calls from out-of-state but this one from Florida was about a hoarder that had been kicked out of their apartment and 5 ferals displaced.  This was due to new management at that complex.  Some were 12 to 15 years old….on my.  Sorry for the cats.  Hoarders should be ashamed of themselves.  People make me sooooo angry.  I tried to advise her and I hope is worked out for the sake of the poor cats. 

OMG:   Trying to Update Records

Since Barn Cats, Inc. has changed and is no working with so many other groups to place their cats, my paperwork has become a ROYAL MESS!  I am trying to re-organize so I can keep up with everything but it has been a struggle.  November is seeing the dawn of a new process for recording barn calls and emails.  Keep your Paws Crossed that it works!!!!!! 

BMG:   Recoup $$$

“I would love to recoup the $60. Please advise.”  This request was in an email from someone I do not know and have never spoken with.  It was to pay for the spay for 3 11 week old kittens. 

Maybe if he had called before hand – but not after!!!    Sorry!   Not something we traditionally do.
