Our Cats after Release
Calls/Emails:   Lunch with Operation Kindness Board Members
BMG (Bitch/Moan/Groan):  More Rain
OMG (Oh My God):  Adopted:  Leo, Luna, and Bart

Relocations:   I placed 11 this week.
2          Barn in Mansfield (Bear-Bear, Ellen)
2          Barn in Cedar Hill (Goldie, Tommy)
2          Workshop in Van Alstyne (Mulligan, Jones)
2          Barn in Aubrey (Mary, Paula)
3          Adoption Group (Kobe, Blackaby, Luna)

So cute:  Bear-ear and Ellen got into the same hidey box at the barn. AHHHH!

Our Cats after Release:
1.     Aubrey:  Kerrigan and Patty were placed in this hay barn.  They are now living under a building used for concessions.  We know this because one of her dogs got “too close” and ended up with a scratched nose.  You go girls!  So she took Mary and Paula to live in the hay barn.
2.     Weatherford:  Jack, Jake, and Chase went to this workshop.  They are living in the roof area and coming down at night.  We know this due to the “broken items” they are knocking off each night which the property owner cleans up each morning.  Love those three boys – very active!

Calls/Emails:   Lunch with Operation Kindness Board Members
Wednesday of this next week we have a lunch scheduled.  Really don’t know what possibility could come of this since their decision to drop the Barn Cat project.  I am working with several other groups to place cats and caging with them.  I no longer trust Operation Kindness…so…update next week.

BMG:   More Rain
I wonder if all this bad weather will ever stop.  At least it is no longer cold but still not “hot” yet.

OMG:   Adopted:  Leo, Luna, and Bart
I have been giving adoptable cats to a rescue group that keeps cats at a Petco location.  Now Bart, Leo, and Luna have all been adopted.  Kobe and Blackaby are there now.  Hope this is a good week for them, too.

Thanks for following the Barn Cats Blog.            Peg

  1. Though the technical glitch scared a lot of people. It was just a publicity stunt to make the event even more interesting. The intention was good the question is. Is it necessary to make a fuss just before the big event? I don't think soJogos online
