Calls/Emails: NOPE – Another Mess
Before
last Sunday, I was having trouble getting in touch with the treasurer for
Animal Allies of Texas. She was not
returning my calls or texts at the end of the week. I wanted to let her know that I was getting
the truck checked out at Sam Pack (the dealership) on Tuesday and then un-wrapped on Wednesday. THEN – On Sunday afternoon – I received a
call from someone I know with that organization. It appears that “something” happened internally
with that group and 4 board members (including the treasurer) have
resigned. So that deal is OFF! But, the person on the phone says she wants
to buy the truck. WELL – she is a hoarder. The poor Transit Connect would be filled full
of TRASH in no time….so….NO WAY. I told
her that and hung up on her. Hope I
never hear from her again. Below is a
picture of the inside of her Honda Odyssey.
LOOK AT THAT MESS!!!!!!!! It is
all trash. I have offered 3 or 4 years
ago to help her clean it out. “Come to
my house. We can do it in the
alleyway. Nobody will see us. We can clean it all out.” She, of course, never took me up on that
offer. I am done!!!
OMG: 100 Degrees Again
Yes…we
got some more barns but the temperature is way up again. So, very few going out. The 3 in Flower Mound have an air conditioned
and heated shed with a cat door in a window.
The Midlothian location is an insulated garage with a fan. We just have to evaluate each location one at
a time.

UPDATE: So here is the new pictures
of the Transit. Need a new buyer. I would like to sell it to a group because it
would be very good at adopt-a-pets. We
shall see…
