Blog 03/27/17 to 04/02/17

Seeking someone to take over Barn Cats, Inc.:  I would like to officially retire as Executive Director in 2018.  I can retain the fundraising pieces but would like to stop the relocations, equipment pickups, phone calls, and emails…the day-to-day stuff.  I will be available for consultation…  If interested call or email Barn Cats…972-315-2875 info@barncats.org

Our Cats after Release:
1.     Burleson:  Midnight, Molly, Marilyn, and Marvin went to this garage in Burleson.  All are hanging in the garage or under the gazebo and there have been no more rodent droppings.  YES!
2.     Irving:  Goldy and Midnight went to this garage in Irving that is across the street from a hoarder.  I told the owner to spread their poop in the flower beds and sprinkle the used litter around the outside of the property.  The cats are doing great – hanging out in the garage and the owner has had no other rodent problems.  GOOD JOB!
3.     Celeste:  Betty and Bonnie are living in this workshop with a window so they can come and go.  They are hiding out on top of a smaller storage room but coming down to eat, pee, and poop.  All is well in Celeste!

Calls/Emails:  One Cat Cannot Keep Up
I put 3 males in a barn in Forney.  One has decided to be a house cat – one is the Supervisor – one is trying to kill the rodents.  SO – the owner called Barn Cats for additional cats.  I took out 3 females (see above).  Those three ladies will resolve that rat problem – HA HA!

BMG:   Bad Roads
I have seen some messy roads in my day but going on PRIVATE ROADS can always be questionable.  I went into Quinlan – people were nice but roads were the worst.  One bad one let to a second bad one to a third…etc, etc.  Take a look…

OMG:  Bad Weather
Well it is spring in North Texas and that means bad thunderstorms, hail, and tornadoes.  I spotted some damage to solar panels in Flower Mound.  Looks like an expensive problem to repair.

Thanks for following the Barn Cats Blog.            Peg
