Blog 04/16/18 to 04/22/18

Seeking someone to take over Barn Cats, Inc.:  I would like to officially retire as Executive Director in 2019.  I can retain the fundraising pieces but would like to stop the relocations, equipment pickups, phone calls, and emails…the day-to-day stuff.  I will be available for consultation.  If interested call or email Barn Cats…972-315-2875 info@barncats.org

2          Workshop/Garage in Van Alstyne (Larry, Eden)
3          Barn in Celina (Linden, Micah, Kennedy)
2          Greenhouse in Chico (Henry, TimTom)
1          Garage in Fort Worth (Rainbow)

Our Cats after Release:
1.     Flower Mound:  Apollo and Athena went to this backyard barn.  They both come out for canned food and are doing very well there.
2.     Gainesville:  Estevan, Blake, and Hawaii went to the born on a polo ranch.  Estevan will let the owner pet him.  Blake and Hawaii not so much…!   BUT all three are still in the tack room and doing well.
3.     Argyle:  Prince and Princess went to this sheep barn.  I have not picked up the equipment because the owner is out of town.   BUT – they were doing well and taking care of “business” in the barn.

Calls/Emails:   Too Many Cats!
You know – if you take care of this when one or two show up then you do not get to have a “bunch”.  I recommend a person who might be able to help this woman but WE DO NOT DO TRAPPING.  She just kept repeating the problem – but I am not the person to help you!   If your car breaks down, you do not go to your dentist to have it fixed.  THIS IS THE SAME THING!

BMG:   Computer Problems – RESOLVED!
Geez – this has been bad.  Files are missing but it is not something I cannot recreate.  I finally have access again to the BLOG and “receive” is working in Outlook.  Don’t know what happened but it is working now.  THANK YOU JESUS!

OMG:  Get your Voice Mail Box Set Up
If you do not have a voice mail box, then you should not be leaving other people messages on their voice mail.  THAT IS RUDE!  That puts the responsibility to get in touch with you on the person you called.  I JUST HATE THAT!

Elder Care Center Shed:  Update each week!
The electric was connect last Sunday and the first bunch of cats moved on Wednesday.  I will have pictures later of the cats when all have been placed.  I moved cat trees and placed beds with their “smells” in the room.

Thanks for following the Barn Cats Blog.            Peg
