Calls/Emails:   “Not Leave Food – Eat Rodents” – NO!
BMG (Bitch/Moan/Groan):  Other Group – Not Professional
OMG (Oh My God):  All Night Screamer

Relocations:   I placed 7 this week.  Having to be really careful due to extreme heat and no rain.
3          Workshop in Allen (Topaz, Zena, Sophie)
2          Barn in Rowlett (Annika, Monty)
2          Workshop in Paradise (Senor, Big Daddy)

Our Cats after Release:
1.     Rowlett:  Placed Tuxie, Roxie, and Skylar at this horse boarding facility.  Two are still on property but have moved to the hay barn – more rodents there, I guess.  The good news is that they took two more…Annika and Monty.
2.     Celina:  Meredith and Fred went to this workshop.  Fred may have taken off but Meredith is still around and doing well.
3.     Paradise:  Ms. Gray, Cray, and Tinker went to this workshop attached to their home.  The husband has seen Ms. Gray and Tinker – so that is good.  Now the rodents have moved into the house probably to get away from the cats, so they took two friendly cats (Senor and Big Daddy) to live on their front porch.  Should work out well for them – but not for the rodents!
4.     Pilot Point:  Licorice and KitKat went to this workshop.  Both have been seen and are moving back and forth from this location and a neighbor’s house…OKAY!   Best of all the rodent droppings are gone at the workshop.  Good Job, guys!

Calls/Emails:   “Not Leave Food – Eat Rodents” – NO!
Got a call from a lady that wanted cats for family property in the Tyler area.  That is outside our service area so I was “off the hood” anyway.  BUT – she is not going to leave out food for them – “There are plenty of rodents and squirrels”.  DUH – NO!  Also, she only goes there about every other month…NO!  Lots of red flags here for sure.  Not getting our cats!

BMG:   Other Group – Not Professional
The BLOG on 7/2/18 to 7/08/18 has the following entry:
Stables Near Dallas
I put two cats in this horse boarding stable 6 or 8 months ago.  WELL – THEY ARE NOW IN THEIR HOUSE!   HA HA!  I train them to do that.  BUT – when the owner called wanting more cats for the barn, I recommended she contact that group in the area that is doing barning.  She got 2 cats from them several months ago but they did not stay around.  However, their EQUIPMENT IS STILL THERE – they never picked it up.  WHAT?  That is rude and not respectful of that barn owner’s property.  Rescuers can be un-thinking sometimes!
==================
This week I went to retrieve our equipment (always at the 3 week point based on schedules) and GRESS WHAT?  That group has STILL NOT PICKED UP THEIR CAGING!   It is several months now.  This is so unprofessional!  DON’T LEAVE YOUR STUFF IN THEIR WAY!  DON’T YOU NEED IT?  I guess not.  I have an email from that organization – so guess I will have to try and help get this going.

OMG:  All Night Screamer
This is a continuing problem because I live here.  Sometimes I get a cat that screams all night.  Usually turning on the light in the cat room stops the screaming…but not this time.  I thought Senor was the problem – NO!  Then I thought Thomas was the problem – NO!  Not I moved Morgan into the family room and he is screaming…this may be the one.  We shall see tonight!

Thanks for following the Barn Cats Blog.            Peg
