That Plano barn had inherited 3 of our cats when they purchased the property in 2005. Little by little they have disappeared. SO – time to move in with additional cats. They took 3 ferals and 1 friendly cat.
Texas Unites for the Animals: This is an annual conference held for animal services personnel, rescue folks, and shelter employees. It is presented by the Texas Animal Shelter Coalition. I was there to present the Barn Cat Story – “Got Rats? We have Cats!” he session had 42 attendees and they all had many questions. I just hope I gave all those animal shelter folks some insite on how to handle feral cats and encouragement to start a barn program. Rebecca P put the event together.
